Silken is one of those yarns about which it's hard to know where to start. It's lustre is exceptional, even for silk (the fiber must be as long and smooth as it gets); the amazingly even spinning and plying has just the right amount of twist to give it a remarkable drape, almost like rayon. The fact that it's a sports weight yarn means that you can use it for lace or non-lace garments, and it will look outstanding either way. Then, of course, there's the color. Ahhhhhh! We are thrilled to be able to offer this yarn - one of the best silks around.
