Soft, smooth 1-ply silk/wool - wonderful stitch definition and drape!
Mini Maiden: 50% silk, 50% wool; 500m/546.8yds; 100g/3.53oz.
Suggested needle size and guage: 3mm/US 2; 26st/4"
What a wonderful invention this yarn is! It is a single-ply, nicely spun "roving" that is everything we love: soft to the touch, smooth for beautiful lace, with an abundance of silk to give it radiant color and a luscious drape. It's also really strong, so you can block to your heart's content with nary a worry. Did I remember to tell you that it is beautiful? Really, really beautiful? No matter, you can see that for yourself. And, once it's flowing through your fingers, you'll know you're in love. I promise.
