An extraordinary silk that yields delicious fabric with flowing Hand Maiden color

This yarn is a joy to work with - it seems to just flow onto the needles, and then out into the world as amazingly beautiful fabric. When I worked with it, it seemed to me that the fabric almost created itself, so little was my sense of effort in comparison to the luscious results. This is a yarn to love - I actually look for any excuse at all to use it every chance I get.
In addition to showcasing their beautiful farm, alive with animals, people and yarn, Morehouse Farms is packed with all manner of good knitting. Most of it is a perfect fit for Fleece Artist Blue Face Leicester (the "other Merino"), but the Foularde (bias-knit scarf) seemed to me to beg to be knit in Lace Silk. The result is a scarf I wear more often than any other I have because it is both beautiful and practical. One skein has plenty of yarn to make the Medium Foulard and its Carrying Case.
