Ottawa is a fascinating experience as well as a beautiful yarn. As a thick and thin DK weight, it pretty much stands alone, offering its texture with much more drape and a finer hand than a bulky thick and thin yarn can provide. Then there's that 8% viscose -- it is not put into the yarn, but appears as white flecks throughout, creating a heather-y landscape that plays among the hills and valleys of Ottawa's varied texture. For sweaters, jackets, skirts - you name it, Ottawa will deliver beauty, grace and style.
