Sea Wool has all the best attributes of both warm and soft Merino wool and strong, lustrous and drapey Seacell (which we all know and love from Hand Maiden's beautiful Sea Silk). What this means to you is that you'll get wonderful color, wool's warmth with nary a scratchy moment, and your finished sock will wear and wear and wear. Which is important. Those bordello floors would really take a toll on a lesser piece of footwear.
