Sivia designed this beautiful blanket as a memorial to a beloved member of the West Coast Knitters' Guild. It remains a great group project, designed as it is for four knitters to produce and then join together to create on of the loveliest blankets ever. However, it is also a great sit-by-the-fire and do-it-yourself project - with the happy ending of a long and cozy nap to look forward to.

However you choose to make it, we think you'll be amazed at the energy and delight that Fleece Artist's unsurpassed handpaint artistry adds to this textured design. You see the leaves and branches simply come to life in a way they can't in a solid color. Yes, we know that common wisdom says that textured knitting should be done only in solids. We offer you the opportunity to discover why this rule of thumb ain't necessarily so. And, we predict you'll love it and never look back!
