Each Keep Me Warm Blanket Kit contains:
Blue Face Leicester: 100% BFL Wool; 500g/17.6oz.
Merino Bouclé: 96% Kid, 4% Nylon; 200g/7oz.
Super Kid Loop: 96% Super Kid, 4% Nylon; 200g/7oz.

Fleece Artist's Keep Me Warm Blanket will warm your heart as you knit it, and the rest of you as you curl up for a good nap under it. It features three delicious new yarns, each as soft and cozy as the next: The BFL is a new bulky weight, spun by a new mill, while the Merino Bouclé rivals Big Baby Alpaca for cuddle-quality. The Super Kid Loop is very similar to Curly Locks and adds a bit of a sparkle to the finished blanket. Altogether, they are destined for greatness as your favorite naptime companion.
Fleece Artist's pattern is a self-fringing sideways garter stitch which yields a beautiful, enfolding throw. Or, use Cat's Island Embrace Blanket pattern - the perfect gift of love.
Cat's beautiful blanket, designed to comfort a member of her island's knitting community, was originally made with Fleece Artist's Splendid Sofa kit. When that kit had to be discontinued due to the inavailability of one of its yarns, Fleece Artist worked to create another 3-yarn kit, so that the Island Embrace tradition could continue. The result of their efforts is the Keep Me Warm Blanket kit - a wonderfully embracing combination of three yarns soft, cozy yarns that will enfold, embrace and look gorgeous when following the Island Embrace pattern or Fleece Artist's. (note: it will not look exactly like the photo above, but will be beautiful in its own way).
IMPORTANT: Do reduce your needle size to 9mm/US13, instead of the size 12mm/US17 which Cat's original pattern specifies.
