Featherweight alpaca with an amazing halo meets an innovative twist on the concept of "scarf" that harnesses the simplest of knitting (the lace pattern is a One Row Repeat!) in the interest of creating a gossamer beauty you can wear several ways (see the photos below). The fabric is light, airy, and soft, yet incredibly warm. The sequence from the ribbed loop through the lace panel and onto the curving border belies the simplicity with which it is knit as the ascot design makes it one of the most versitile accessories you'll ever wear. Not to mention that a single kit will make 4 or 5 Opal Scarves! From every direction, surprise and delight, form and function, beauty and grace.
