Each Honey Bee Kit contains:

Maiden Hair by Hand Maiden: 67% Silk, 23% Kid Mohair, 10% Nylon; 250m/273yds; 100g/3.52oz

Skill level: Early intermediate - this is an ideal first lace project.

Suggested needle size: 4mm/US 6 needles, circular or straight. Twitchy Design recommends addi Turbo needles as Keri (who is Twitchy Design) found the sharp points of the Lace Needles tended to split stitches and the Natura bamboo needles had a bit too much drag to allow Maiden Hair's bloom to flow well. However, use what you believe is best for you.
